Reliable COVID-19 Resources

May 19, 2020 by cphealth

Pretty sure it’s safe to say we are all looking for some reliable COVID-19 information and resources as we open back up for business.

So far I think we would all say we have found a lot of opinion pieces versus hard-reliable data-driven resources.

And that will probably be the norm for quite some time.

Why?

Because so much is still unknown.

Here is a great conversation by Dr. Eric Rubin and Dr. Lindsey Baden last week with the New England Journal of Medicine.

So many solid points discussed in this conversation. But probably the most important point was the comment of respecting one another as we all take in the data and research.

Another amazing resource I’ve discovered and would like to share is with Dr. Laurel Bristow.

Her insight, as well as her direct research with Remdesivir here at Emory in Atlanta, has made her a daily view for me on Instagram. But besides her clinical expertise, her realness and comedy are what make her the best I’ve found to keep me informed. Just imagine singing veggies mixed with margaritas and 1000% real data mixed in. It’s always on-point. Every. Single. Time. Click to the left to follow the link to her Instagram page and view her stories for this amazing and entertaining information.

Those are just two of the areas I’ve gone to so far.

What are some you’ve found?

Keep washing your hands and Godspeed in staying healthy and your business returning to normal!

Staying Safe and COVID Resources for Georgia

April 1, 2020 by cphealth

CP Healthcare wants to make sure you have the proper guidelines and contact information you need to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. We want you staying safe during this time.

From a global standpoint, click HERE.

Since CP Healthcare is based in Georgia, please click HERE for statewide information.

For information from around the United State, please click HERE.

As a reminder, CP Healthcare is here to help you safely find and continue treatment if you are healthy. Our nationwide network is ready to serve you!

As an important reminder, stay at home as the next few weeks are critical to ending the spread of this virus. If we all can do our part, this should peak around mid to late April so we can return to normal activities by May.

Make your trips and interaction out of necessity only. If you’ve been injured and need treatment or imaging, we are happy to help. Independent imaging centers, such as CP Healthcare’s network, are ideal locations to schedule. Our network is located outside hospital campuses and away from urgent care centers. Each one has available times that fit with you in a smaller environment. With over 100 locations in Georgia alone, we can help you while practicing essential needs and social distancing.

Stay safe and well!

Feel free to share this chart and these links.

CP Healthcare Update for COVID-19

March 17, 2020 by cphealth

I would like to take a few moments to update you on CP Healthcare’s preparations for the COVID-19 virus.

In the past few weeks and days, it has been hard to take our eyes off the headlines. As phone alerts and 24-hour news reports give continual updates on the COVID 19 outbreak I want to assure you CP Healthcare is prepared. I’m sure many of you are feeling the same way. I know you are grappling with how to keep ‘business as usual’ as the world around us is anything but ‘usual.’

CP Healthcare remains open to handle all of your personal injury diagnostic imaging needs and I want to assure you our network is taking great precautions to make sure we are providing a safe work environment. The reception desk, lobby, and scan rooms are all wiped down multiple times every day. I have reached out to ensure every center is washing their hands regularly and/or using hand sanitizer and we are encouraging all of those that we encounter to do the same.

COVID-19 CP Healthcare Update

To ensure a safe environment at our facilities and our network facilities, we are asking our patients and physicians adhere to the following policies:

  • If a patient has traveled outside of the country in the past 2 weeks we ask that they schedule their appointment at least 2 weeks past the date that they arrived back in the USA
  • If a patient is having flu-like symptoms they should consult with a physician and be seen at a hospital that is more equipped to handle a possible case of COVID-19. Hospitals may be inundated with patients and I am sure would appreciate patients, not at risk of carrying COVID-19 to remain outside of the hospital.
  • Our staff will be professional and friendly as always but in the best interest of all parties, we will make an effort to maintain a safe distance from the patient and one another.
  • We are asking patients who are coming to our facility to do so alone. If assistance is needed they certainly may bring a guest but we would like to minimize the number of guests entering our facility.
  • In compliance with the CDC recommendations, our Managers and Marketing staff will be limiting if not eliminating visits to referring physician offices and will communicate with offices by phone, email, text and social media.

CP has always been an innovative company, but we especially ask that during this time all interaction be as digital as possible. You can submit a referral for imaging HERE. You can email orders or questions HERE. Attorneys, you can request information, approve liens and check the status of patients HERE. Schedule a virtual meeting or chat HERE.

We thank you for your cooperation and we seek to protect our employees and those that we are entrusted to assist with medical care. At a time like this, we are reminded to give thanks to all of our medical professionals.

I can assure you CP is making sure each and every patient we are caring for and each member of our imaging centers are safe during this time.

Thank you for letting CP care for you all during this time.

Goodspeed and stay well!

Sincerely,
